Horrors of Malformed Men (1969, Japan)

Released in partnership with Synapse Films, this is the most notorious film in the history of Japanese cinema. Teruo Isshi's Pièce de résistance was banned upon it's release in 1968 and has never screened again. The Synapse folks handled the restoration of this lost classic, and it has never looked better. It is also packed with extra features including one of the final interviews that director ever gave. You owe it to yourself to see this film!
